DEAF OPPORTUNITY OUTREACH

Around 18 million Deaf people are living in India . There are only 250 certified interpreters available for these  deaf people. There are no interpreters in Public places like hospitals, schools and offices. Only two percent of the deaf people are getting primary education.

The deaf are always lacking information and media that he or she truly deserves. So we can say that the deaf are cut off from information. This includes from family, schools, religion, daily living, economic, local workplace and world news. The deaf are facing issues like uneducation and unemployment.  Most deaf live in rural areas and have little chance for education and interaction with other deaf people. They are living like an isolated group in our society with a lot of problems.
